NEW BUILDING PLANNING MODULE
All project milestones are set on the project Gantt chart which is part of viaShipyard. Work orders are created for different work categories. All estimated dates, materials, workforce and equipment are planned and processed to this Gantt chart. The steps on the Gantt chart can be connected finish to finish, finish to start, start to start or start to finish. A critical path is created, and any delays on a work order, will show and warn about other delays that might happen. The Gantt chart created, can import from and export into industrial standard planning software such as MS Project and Primavera.
Planning module can connect and inform of the commencement of a work order to other departments, such as finance, human resources, purchasing, storage and production. A detailed contractor management is part of this module. Contractor work contracts, surveys, evaluations and similar information is gathered by different departments, are collected in this module. Contractor workers, their certificates, education and social security information are managed.
All workers, including contractors, entrance and exit times are gathered from the gates with id cards. This information is presented to contractor timing and payment calculation pages. Previous advance payments, allowances, payment cuts, penalties and material costs are also gathered from other modules and presented in these pages.
